Review: Plus Minus Zero Cordless Vacuum Cleaner Ver.3 C030
Last year, in a series of whirlwind events, I decided to move to Singapore and make it my new home base. That meant I had to start getting things for my new home. And one of the first things that I decided to buy was a vacuum cleaner. I own a Dyson in the Philippines, and I have a love-hate relationship with it, mostly because of the customer service, and I really think the price didn’t justify it. After two units and two battery changes…
Review: Maximus 003 Tabletop Dishwasher
And it happened. The one thing that I told myself that I would regret. I mentioned in a previous entry that i like doing the dishes and taking care of if because it gives me joy. But things have changed drastically and the work-life integration is something that has affected my way of doing things…
Repairing my chipped glass induction cooktop with Sugru
One of my fears became reality. My pepper shaker fell down from my cupboard and landed straight to the edge of my induction cooktop.
And it happened. The edge of the cooktop got a penny sized chip that shattered into unsalvageable pieces.
And since the cooktop was glass, the edges of where it got chipped got pretty jagged and sharp.
I got the first thing I could think of to remedy the problem - electrical tape. I thought
Review: Bluetooth Silent Mouse - Logitech M590
When COVID-19 hit, most of us were forced to work remotely. I knew there would be a lot of adjustments but I was pretty confident about it since I was somewhat digitally ready. Or so I thought. My work revolves around management consulting and education so I do a lot of talking when I am in video calls. Most of the time, these are webinars or even lectures wherein the audience communicates with me through chat. To improve my practice, I always try to ask for feedback. And this is where it all happened…

For the longest time, I have been curious about Koreans using “Toothbrushing Cups”.
I was bothered, that I, a Korean did not adhere to this “Korean standard”. I questioned myself if I was really…
Design: The 3 in 1 Cabinet
This design was made for my home.
I live in a small studio unit, so as much as possible, I would like to make use of every bit of floor space.
In any problem solving or design work that I do, I usually start with understanding the things I absolutely can not change. From there I think of the solutions around it. In this case, it was the location…
Achieving Happiness Through Material Things
“Collect experiences, not things.”
“Material things won’t make you happy.”
These are some of the things I am constantly told.
For a few years, I actually went through an extreme minimalist phase. I sticked to bare minimums and had pretty much nothing. I only covered my basic needs. Food, clothing, shelter, and the things I needed for work. Which was not much since I was a soldier. I actually went on years without a cellphone. I purged as much…
Review: Onemoon Air Fryer 2L
The first time I used my air fryer was the day I questioned myself why I went though all the torture to get my food fried.
If you are like me who cooks almost all the meals at home, I am sure you had your fair share of boiling oil just deciding to jump out of the frying pan and attack you.
The last time it happened to me, it was a direct hit in my eye. That's like a billion in one chance for asians like me who…
